Job Description

The Norfolk Southern Information Technology Content Management team is currently seeking a candidate who has experience implementing, administering, developing and supporting Enterprise Document Management systems.  The candidate should be highly motivated and a self-starter who has demonstrated successful experience in delivering solutions within an enterprise development environment.  The ability to foster working relationships with technical and business partners, as well as work across functional areas to identify and resolve issues is critical to this role.


Required Experience and Skills 


5+ years of experience with administration, development, testing, implementation and support of a document management software in an Enterprise environment.
1+ years of experience integrating with Outlook, MS Office applications and other 3rd party applications like Adobe, DocAuto, etc.
Exposure to Relational Database design, development, and querying
HTLM/XML
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Solid understanding of software development principles including Project Management 
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong customer support and interaction
Strong work ethic and team player

 


Preferred Experience


Exposure to MS SQL 2014 (or higher) database
Administration, development and support of an iManage WorkSite 9.3 environment with IDOL indexing services
Administration, development and support of an iManage Work 10 environment with RAVN indexing services
Design of interfaces with Cloud based solutions
Design of WorkSite databases and WorkSpace Matter-Centric structures to manage document security, collaboration, data retention, and profile data
Development of DocAuto WorkSpace Manager and Refiling Module jobs to manage workspace structures and documents
Experience in ASP.NET (C#), JavaScript application development and REST web services
Experience planning, scaling, installing, and configuring Client/Autonomy product suite including WorkSite server, Communications server and mobility servers

 

Education:  Bachelor’s Degree preferably in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
