Job Description

This HR manager is empowered to lead a team of Business Partners and Organizational Development Specialists in enterprise-wide efforts to ensure that talent programs and organizational structure are aligned to deliver on strategic imperatives. Leads execution of talent management strategy and talent architecture implementation to support identification, assessment, development and succession planning for internal talent.  Leads organizational development and talent retention initiatives to position the company for best-in-class performance and growth. 
 Principal Duties:
• Leads the talent management functions for Norfolk Southern requiring highly effective collaboration within HR and with department leaders across the company.
• Develops and implements innovative strategies that support the company’s current and future talent needs.
• Leads the design and implementation of high-impact products and services related to the identification, assessment, management, retention and growth of internal talent.
• Evaluates the business impact of talent management activities to determine opportunities for enhanced effectiveness.
• Uses data analytics and reporting of workforce trends to advise and guide senior leaders’ effective decision-making. Analyzes complex information to deliver key insights, clear recommendations, and action plans.
• Manages a range of projects including but not limited to: organizational alignment, performance management, leadership development, and change management initiatives.
Job Related Experience:
   Minimum Level:  3-5 years
   Preferred Level:  6-10 years
   Preferred Level:  Master’s Degree (MS)
   Preferred Majors:

      - Business - Personnel Management
