Position Overview:


We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Management Trainee - Procurement Operations Analyst to support our procurement function through data analysis, process optimization, and supplier performance management. This role plays a critical part in ensuring procurement activities are efficient, compliant, and aligned with business objectives.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Analysis & Reporting:
    Analyze procurement data to identify trends, cost-saving opportunities, and compliance gaps. Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to support leadership decision-making.
  • Operational Support:
    Manage purchase order updates, outline contracts, data cleanup, and supplier follow-ups to ensure accurate and timely procurement operations.
  • Supplier Performance Management:
    Track and evaluate supplier KPIs, scorecards, and service levels. Ensure supplier performance aligns with contractual obligations and business goals.
  • Compliance & Risk Management:
    Ensure all procurement activities adhere to internal policies, regulatory requirements, and risk mitigation frameworks.
  • Contract Lifecycle Management:
    Assist in tracking contract milestones, renewals, expirations, and compliance metrics using contract management systems.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration:
    Serve as a liaison between procurement, business units, and suppliers to resolve operational issues and ensure alignment across teams.
  • Process Improvement:
    Identify and drive opportunities for process improvement, automation, and increased efficiency within the procurement function.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain operations.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, Power BI, or similar tools.
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and contract management platforms.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
