The Management Trainee – Technology Operations Analyst role will serve as a strategic liaison between Enterprise Resources, IT, and suppliers—driving adoption, process improvements, and system enhancements across SAP S4 and Ariba modules.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the business-side ownership of SAP Ariba and Fieldglass platforms, including Sourcing, Contracts, SLP, Buying & Invoicing, Contingent Workforce, and Services Procurement modules.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for procurement processes and SAP integrations, translating business needs into scalable system solutions across Ariba, Fieldglass, and S/4HANA.
  • Support sourcing events and contract lifecycle management, ensuring compliance, timely execution, and alignment with organizational procurement strategies.
  • Collaborate with IT and vendors to manage platform enhancements, testing, and deployment of new features, including Fiori-based UX improvements.
  • Develop and deliver training programs and documentation for internal users and suppliers to drive adoption and ensure consistent use of procurement tools.
  • Monitor and optimize procurement workflows, approvals, and data integrity, ensuring alignment with policy and operational efficiency.
  • Maintain master data, templates, supplier records, and user roles across Ariba and Fieldglass, ensuring accuracy and governance.
  • Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) such as procurement cycle times, supplier performance, and system utilization to inform continuous improvement.
  • Lead cross-functional process improvement initiatives, leveraging platform capabilities to streamline operations and enhance supplier collaboration.
  • Stay current on SAP best practices and emerging technologies, assessing their applicability to the business and contributing to the long-term roadmap and product vision.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of hands-on experience with SAP S/4 and Ariba including functional configuration and business-side support.
  • Strong understanding of procurement processes, sourcing strategies, contract lifecycle management, and supplier enablement.
  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA and integration of Ariba/Fieldglass with core ERP modules.
  • Proven ability to translate business requirements into system solutions and drive platform adoption across diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Excellent communication, training, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and reporting tools for procurement analytics and KPI tracking.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
