Job Description

Norfolk Southern is seeking an experienced Mobile Device Management (MDM) Administrator that will work in our Enterprise MDM systems administration group. Experiences in designing, deploying, integrating and maintaining Mobile Device Management (MDM) platforms such as WorkSpace One are required. Ideal candidates will be motivated, self-starters with great communications skills.


Experience Required:
 5+ years of relative IT experience in End User Computing
 4+ years of experience with VMWare WorkSpace ONE (formally AirWatch)
 4+ years of iOS device support
 3+ years of experience with Active Directory structures and containers, ADFS & Azure AD
 3+ years of experience with scripting (PowerShell, VBScript, BAT and Bash)


Overall responsibilities: 
The engineer will be involved in the day to day administration and support of Norfolk Southerns MDM solution (WorkSpace ONE) for device administration as a Technology Engineer in the End User Services group. The group works directly with our customers on ideating, designing and deploying robust device policies for our mobile fleet. The engineer will also be responsible for working with the team to deploy and support mobile device authentication technologies such as VMWare Access and other mobile productivity apps that utilize VMWare Unified Access Gateway. This job is 100% remote during the pandemic but will evolve to 60% on-site as we transition back to the office after the pandemic.
