Roles and Responsibilities

•    Provide high-quality analytical solutions for the key stakeholders in the SAP source to pay space (S2P, PTP), with particular emphasis on data governance for vendors and materials, by understanding the business process and outcomes needed and translating those into the software
•    Collaborate with the product owner to create the product backlog by using Agile practices to increase the business value
•    Develop business cases by working closely with IT and business stakeholders to develop business cases
•    Provide user stories to multi-disciplinary teams and define the business-driven acceptance criteria
•    Support Agile practices and encourage the improvement of service
•    Provide subject matter proficiency in specific functional area(s) to the assigned team (source to pay processes)
•    Support successful execution of the vision
•    Lead IT projects 
•    Work to resolve complex domain specific impediments
•    Work in the trenches with the team members to solve problems
•    Lead participatory decision making with the team to develop and evolve the design
•    Ensure standards are adhered to
•    Coach and mentor other team members
•    Direct system integrators and other IT partners on implementation of solutions
•    Communicates with other teams on cross-team collaboration
•    Manage a third part team of centralized master data management
•    Ensure quality through reviews

Skills Required

The SAP S2P/Master data lead needs to be business-oriented, eager to learn, empathetic, and flexible towards working in an Agile environment and should be innovative and goal-oriented. The S2P/Master data lead resume must comprise the following characteristics:
•    Understanding of the technical business area related to the projects taken
•    Expert in conceptual modeling; visualize possible solutions innovatively
•    Excellent proficiency in verbal and non-verbal communication skills
•    Data analysis skills, ability to build reports and represent information for a less technical audience
•    Ability to critically question to help the team foresee the future problems
•    Ability to file the requirements based on the project
•    Ability to understand the Agile development process
•    Familiarity with requirement techniques such as informal modeling, use cases, user stories. 
•    Must have: one hands on (configuration) full implementation of SAP procurement solutions, preferably S/4 Hana and/or Ariba solutions and/or an invoice management solution (ex. Open Text VMI)
•    Must have operational knowledge of best practices for designing and support vendor and material master processes in SAP/S/4 Hana/MDG
•    Must have vendor master and material master knowledge of the structure as maintained in ECC and in S/4 Hana MDG 
•    Nice to have certification in one or more Agile methodologies 
•    Nice to have: any experience with Fieldglass
•    Nice to have any experience with Ariba SLP
•    Nice to have migration experience from ECC to S/4 MDG
