Job Description

Primary Purpose:

Responsible for the accurate and timely implementation of contract rate escalations and fuel surcharge clauses in all CBG transportation contracts and quotes. Additionally, responsible for various CBG monthly/quarterly reports and ad hoc studies, presentations, and data requests.

Principal Duties:

  • Ensures accurate interpretation of all contract price adjustment provisions and provides proper notification of new rates, prices, and charges to customers to affected persons prior to the effective date of adjustment.
  • Obtains all adjustment indices in a timely manner, maintains CBG's Oaktree contract price escalation system on a current basis, and manually calculates adjustments that cannot be handled by Oaktree.
  • Assists the Market Data Coordinator in ensuring that all CBG transportation contract and quote prices are correctly populated in the 9255 waybill rating system.
  • Validates terms of specific refund and lease agreement contracts are being met in full, notifies the affected managers of discrepancies, and prepares mathematical refund calculations and documentation for approval of payments.
  • Responsible for various CBG monthly/quarterly reports and ad hoc studies, presentations, and data requests, requiring data sourcing and analyses from BRIO, DELPHI, WorkBench, NSBI, CTMS, and industry data.
  • Interprets contract language, and has a good working knowledge and understanding of contracts, amendments and tariffs, especially price adjustment and fuel surcharge clauses.

Job Related Experience:

Minimum Level: Less than 1 year Preferred Level: 1-2 years
