Job Description
Primary Purpose:
Responsible for developing computer software and instrumentation for the track geometry cars.
Principal Duties:
- Develop specialty software applications for use on the track geometry vehicles or in the office.
- Develop instrumentation for use on the track geometry vehicles. Responsibilities include the selection of sensors and development of software to integrate the sensors with existing hardware and software.
- Manage data produced by the geometry car. Responsibilities include transferring data and information to various users and mobile devices and administering the TI&D SQL server.
- Substitute for geometry car operators as needed.
Job Related Experience:
